Unshaken
Scripture:
“My soul finds rest in God alone. He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress and in Him I will never be shaken.” Isaiah 62:1-2
Introduction:
Most people would agree that getting along with others and avoiding conflict is a good thing, but it’s not always that easy to do. As a Christians working in a public school we may feel the current of our secular culture pressing us to embrace things that are in conflict with our faith and Biblical values. How do we remain steadfast and immoveable through stormy times when conflict seems unavoidable?
Read Luke 6:47-48 together.

- Have you ever felt pressed to compromise your beliefs in order to fulfill the requirements of your job?
- When storms come and conflict seems unavoidable, how do you find the peace of God?
- Would you agree with the statement that the pathway to bedrock is to abide, listen and follow?
