“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9, NIV
Have you ever finished a day feeling as though you simply did not do enough?
Perhaps you prepared carefully, gave your best, encouraged someone, answered countless questions, and still went home wondering whether you could have done more.
For educators, the demands can sometimes seem endless. There are lessons to prepare, people to care for, problems to solve, and expectations to meet. At the end of the day, it is easy to focus on what went wrong instead of remembering what God has already enabled us to do.
Paul understood what it meant to feel weak. He pleaded with God concerning his struggle, but God’s answer was not to remove every difficulty. Instead, God reminded him that His grace was sufficient.
That truth changes how we see our limitations. God does not ask us to be everything for everyone. He asks us to trust Him and faithfully use what He has given us. Our weaknesses do not disqualify us from being useful in His hands. In fact, they can become places where His strength is most clearly seen.
You may feel inadequate today. You may feel that your efforts are not producing the results you hoped for. But remember: your worth and effectiveness do not depend on your own strength. God’s grace is made perfect in your weakness.
So, do what you can today, entrust what you cannot do to God, and remember that His grace is enough.
Lord, thank You for reminding me that Your grace is sufficient. When I feel inadequate or overwhelmed, help me to depend on Your strength rather than my own. Give me wisdom, patience, and courage to faithfully do what You have placed before me. May my weaknesses become opportunities for Your strength to be seen. Amen.

Awesome word – I was just thinking about this last night and wondering if I should submit a meditation about it. I’m glad God used you to get it out – because it would have been a while before I could. Thank God for His sufficient grace!
