TURN MY HEART

Turn my heart toward your statutes and not toward selfish gain. Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to your word. Fulfill your promise to your servant, so that you may be feared. Psalm 119:36-38, NIV

The Lord allows us to make our plans, but He directs our steps. What a generous God we serve. He affords us the ability to plan our ways, yet intercedes on our behalf by directing our ways.

For example, we design our lesson plans, but what if we lifted each lesson up to Him while planning for His guidance? If we ask, God promises that He will direct our steps.
I want to encourage you today to pray, plan, and then watch Him be the director of our instruction.

Lord, I pray that You would turn my heart toward You and Your plans. I ask that You would direct my teaching today and that all I do would point to who You are. Amen.
