But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31, NIV
The final bell has rung, classrooms are empty, and the noise of the school year has faded into quiet. Summer has finally arrived. For many, this season is a welcome break—yet for teachers, it’s more than just time off. It’s a season of restoration.
The job you’ve been called to is beautiful, but exhausting. God sees that. And He invites you now to come and sit at His feet.
This summer, let it be more than just recovery—let it be renewal. Find fresh inspiration in the One who called you to this work in the first place. Take the time to reconnect with God in unhurried moments: a morning walk with Him, journaling your prayers, reading His Word with fresh eyes, or simply resting in silence and letting His presence fill the gaps where stress once lived.
In Christ, there is always more—more strength, more vision, more peace. Ask Him to refresh your spirit, to give you new dreams for the coming year, and to remind you of the eternal impact of your work.
Lord, thank You for sustaining me through another school year. I’ve seen Your hand in my classroom, even in the hardest days. As I step into summer, help me not to simply relax—but to truly renew. Fill me again with Your vision and purpose. Refresh my soul. Remind me that my calling is holy and that You are my strength. I want to walk into the next season not running on empty, but overflowing with You. Amen.
