Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for He guards the lives of His faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. Psalm 97:10, NIV

Educators are protectors. We would never allow evil to harm our students—whether it comes through bullying, neglect, or outside threats. To the best of our ability, we stand in the gap for them, shielding them from harm. But we are not alone in this work. The Lord is the Great Protector, and He provides the strength and discernment we need each day. As we grow in our love for Him, we also grow in our hatred for evil.

Darkness has no place in our schools. Only His light can truly pierce that darkness. You have been placed in your school as an agent of light—to reflect His love and presence, and through that, bring protection and peace to your students. When the burden feels too heavy or the battle too fierce, go to Him first. He is your shield.

Father, Thank You that You are the Great Protector. Teach me to be like You as I seek to protect my students as You would. I ask that You would give me Your eyes and Your hands today. Amen.
