Welcome to a new day of walking with Jesus. What a gift to begin this day knowing our future is not uncertain, but secure in Him.
As the years pass, I sometimes reflect on all the days I have walked with the Lord—along with a few when I have merely crawled or stumbled in weakness. Through every season, one truth remains: God is faithful. Though skeptics may question, “Where is the evidence of His coming?” I rest in the promise that what Jesus has spoken, He will surely fulfill. He will come again. He will gather His people to Himself. And in His perfect time, He will make all things new.
I do not need to understand the timing to trust the promise.
And while we wait, there are people to love, students to encourage, colleagues to support, truths to teach, and lives to nurture in Christ. God has placed each of us exactly where we are for this season so His love can shine through us.
And the future? It is secure and eternal. So embrace this day with joy. Rejoice not only in what God has already revealed, but also in what He has prepared that you have not yet seen.
Lord, I rejoice in this day You have made. Thank You that my inheritance in You is secure and my future is held in Your hands. Use me today to bless others, reflect Your love, and serve with hope as I await the fulfillment of all You have promised. Amen.
