We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in this holy name. May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you. Psalms 33:20-22, NIV
Do you ever feel a little hopeless? With everything happening in our world, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Even within our own classrooms, the weight of responsibilities and challenges can feel heavy at times.
This week, as I prepared a motivational message for some friends, I found myself praying for the right verse and the right words—something that would bring comfort and encouragement not just to others, but to my own heart as well. God led me to this passage in Psalm 33, and it was exactly what I needed.
What a powerful reminder: our hope is in the Lord. He is our help and our shield. Knowing this gives us strength. It lifts the weight off our shoulders and fills our hearts with peace. How comforting to trust in His holy name, knowing He is with us through every moment.
Take a moment to consider who around you might also need that hope today. Pray for opportunities to share the love and peace of Jesus with them. If you’re feeling weary, there’s a good chance someone else is too. Share His love—it matters more than you know.
Be bold. Be courageous. You can do this. You are important. You are worthy. You are deeply loved.
Dear Jesus, I lift up every educator reading this today. May they be filled with Your peace and strength as they go through their week, both in the classroom and in their personal lives. Walk closely with them and remind them that they are never alone. Amen.
