NOTHING BUT GOODNESS COMES FROM THE LORD

The LORD is just! He is my rock! There is no evil in Him. Psalm 92:15, NLT

Difficult times come, don’t they? Sometimes our own choices contribute to them. Other times, circumstances are simply part of living in a broken world.

As followers of Christ, we have a place to turn when life feels uncertain or overwhelming: we can draw close to the Lord. When doubts begin to attack your faith, pray. When fear starts to creep in, seek His presence. When circumstances feel beyond your control, remind yourself that God is your rock—steady, trustworthy, and good.

God’s goodness doesn’t mean we will never experience hardship. It means that even in hardship, He remains good.

Maybe you’re carrying a difficult situation today—a challenging student, a strained relationship, an uncertain decision, or a burden you haven’t shared with anyone else. You don’t have to find enough strength to make it through the entire week or even the entire day. Bring that burden to God and ask Him for the grace and peace you need for this moment.

And when that peace begins to run low, go back to Him. There will always be more.

Jesus reminds us, “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you” (Matthew 7:7).

Whatever difficulty you are facing today, remember: He is your rock. He is good. And He will meet you there.

Lord, thank You for being my rock in difficult times. When I am afraid, remind me that You are near. When I am uncertain, help me trust Your wisdom. When I am weary, give me the strength and peace I need for this moment. Help me see Your hand at work, even when I cannot see the whole picture. Thank You for Your goodness and Your faithful presence. Amen.
