HIS LOVING SALVATION

May your unfailing love come to me, Lord, your salvation, according to your promise; then I can answer anyone who taunts me, for I trust in your word. Psalm 119:41-42, NIV

Being a Christian in a public school setting is both a privilege and a calling. You may not always feel seen, and it can sometimes feel like you’re standing alone in your faith. But the truth is, you are not alone. There are thousands of students, teachers, and staff across the nation who also follow Jesus, though many of us wonder how we’re allowed—or even able—to live out our faith in this environment.

Psalm 119 reminds us of two key truths: God’s love never fails, and His salvation is certain, because He promised it. When you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you received more than just forgiveness; you received courage, purpose, and a mission. Through His Word and Spirit, God has given you the boldness to stand firm, even when others challenge or mock your beliefs.

You don’t have to be afraid to represent Christ. When people question your faith or challenge your values, you can respond not with anger or fear, but with quiet confidence. Why? Because you trust in God’s Word. You are anchored in something eternal.

God has placed you in your school for a reason. You are a light in the hallways, classrooms, lunch tables, and sports fields. Every interaction is an opportunity to reflect His love, grace, and truth. His unfailing love surrounds you, and His salvation empowers you.

Lord, I choose to trust in You again today. Thank You for Your loving salvation and for allowing me to be Your light on my campus. When others question or challenge me, let my response be filled with grace, anchored in Your Word. Use me to bless those around me with the Good News of who You are. Amen.
