HE IS ENOUGH

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26, NIV

Has your faith in God ever cost you something? Maybe it was rejection or hurt feelings. Maybe it was difficulty in a relationship with someone that didn’t understand God’s plan for you. Or maybe it was letting go of your ideas or desires in some area of your life.

Like me, have you wondered when God was going to reveal His purpose for your sacrifice? Have you expected a testimony to validate the reasons why you endured this struggle?

Recently, during a time of prayer, God revealed to me that I had already found that purpose—Him. My relationship with Him—truly knowing Him and experiencing the joy and blessings that can only come from living in His presence here on Earth—is that purpose. He is that purpose, He is my testimony, He is enough!

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that each and every one of us will be reminded today that You are enough. Help us to keep our eyes fixed on You and pursue a relationship with You above all else. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  1. I can really relate to this! I am experiencing something that puts me right in the place you describe, and it really does transform the pain into joy in His presence. Thanks for the encouragement Lara!
