My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26, NIV
Has your faith in God ever cost you something? Maybe it was rejection or hurt feelings. Maybe it was a difficulty in a relationship with someone who didn’t understand God’s plan for you. Or maybe it was letting go of your ideas or desires in some area of your life.
Like me, have you wondered when God was going to reveal His purpose for your sacrifice? Have you expected a testimony to validate the reasons why you endured this struggle?
Recently, during a time of prayer, God revealed to me that I had already found that purpose—Him. My relationship with Him—truly knowing Him and experiencing the joy and blessings that can only come from living in His presence here on Earth—is that purpose. He is that purpose, He is my testimony, He is enough!
Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that every one of us will be reminded today that You are enough. Help us to keep our eyes fixed on You and pursue a relationship with You above all else. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

This daily devotional is right in line with my thoughts and my prayer this morning. God seemed to “rewind” my mind and call me back to HIM today. I had let myself get worried about things that are outside of His plan for me. Then, this morning, I was reminded in prayer that I just need to focus on Him. Then, I read this. Wow. He is always right on time. I pray each of you is blessed today as I have been!
This is so encouraging Lara. Just to know Him and the things He does…is enough. Thank you!
