The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Deuteronomy 31:8, NIV
As you walk onto your campus this morning, I want you to picture the Lord going before you. Throughout your day, continue envisioning His presence around you. Remember, before you enter your classroom, have the first conversation, or face the first challenge, He is already there, preparing the way. What a comfort to know you never step into your day alone.
I also encourage you to carry that awareness with you throughout the day. As you move through hallways, meetings, lessons, and interruptions, keep reminding yourself that God’s presence surrounds you. He goes ahead of you, walks beside you, and remains with you in every moment.Â
And as you pray, ask the Lord to make you aware of other Christian educators and students in your building. He has not placed you there to stand alone. There is strength in the unity of God’s people, encouragement in shared faith, and power in knowing others are shining for Christ alongside you. Ask God to show you who you can pray with, encourage, or simply walk beside today.
Whatever you face, remember this promise: the One who calls you into your mission field is the One who goes before you in it.
Lord, thank You for the way You go ahead of me and walk with me on my campus. When I feel discouraged, help me remember that, regardless of what’s happening around me, You are walking with me and preparing the way for me. Amen.
