GOD IS STILL THE SAME

Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23, NKJV

I think it is safe to say that this school year, just like every other year, has not been predictable. Like always, there have been a lot of twists, turns, and jaw-dropping moments. But through it all, like always, God is still the same. He does not nor will He ever change.

Hebrews 13:8 states, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”

Isn’t that comforting? To know that God is faithful, in control, and that nothing can separate us from His love is the best feeling in the world. It is so beautifully recorded in Romans 8:38-39, “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Regardless of what has happened this year, God is still the same. He has gotten you through challenging times before, and He will do the same again in the future. This is the beauty of serving our faithful Father. Each day is new, and He is right there with you. You are loved!

Heavenly Father, You are a gracious and merciful God. I worship You just because of who You are. I sing Your praises just because of who You are. Thank you for Your divine protection over my life. In Jesus’s name, I pray, Amen.
