GOD IS IN CHARGE

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Romans 8:28, NLT

Can you recall all of the times that God has delivered you—often from your own errors and even from yourself? Try making a list. What has God delivered you from in the past ten years? Past year? Past month? Past week?

It’s amazing to think of all of His blessings and those that we may never realize because He protected us from them before they could happen. And when we do face something difficult, we can hold tight to our memories of all the blessings. This will give us the confidence to hold tight to our faith.

Today, I hope you focus on God’s blessings and anticipate more “good” to come because God is in charge.

Lord, forgive me for focusing on the negative things in my life. Thank You for reminding me that You work everything for my good. Amen.
