SHARPENED

As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17, NIV

It’s no secret that fellowship between Christians is vital to our spiritual well-being. Just as iron rubbed against iron is shaped and sharpened, fellowship with Christian friends and educators can “sharpen” our character and shape our personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

So, how can we help to “sharpen” each other this school year? How can we help shape others through our actions and reactions? How can we carry out the attribute of being sharpened in our daily environments (classroom, hallways, meetings, cafeteria, office, etc.)?

Lord, open my eyes to opportunities this year to have my character sharpened by others, rather than hiding or taking offense. Amen.
