WE ARE ALL ONE BODY IN CHRIST

In fact, some parts of the body that seem weakest and least important are actually the most necessary. And the parts we regard as less honorable are those we clothe with the greatest care. So we carefully protect those parts that should not be seen, while the more honorable parts do not require this special care. 1 Corinthians 12:22-24, NLT

It is easy to admire or get wrapped up in honoring those who are in the spotlight and forget about those who are working behind the scenes—even though they seem to be the ones who receive the least recognition and often have the most tedious and labor-intensive jobs.

As Christians, we know that God has a special role in His Kingdom for each of us. With this in mind, we can do our part to make everyone feel valued. We can show our appreciation to our colleagues working alongside us by taking the time to recognize their efforts. Although most people do not work for recognition, everyone needs a boost once in a while!

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for giving us a role to fulfill within the Body of Christ. Help us to see ourselves as valuable and to know that our worth is not dependent on a title or salary. Help us honor all those who fulfill a role in our schools and communities and remember that You have placed them in these roles for a purpose.
