Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. Ephesians 4:1-3, NLT
Do you have days when you think that you really have nothing worthwhile to contribute to the Kingdom of God? If so, that voice you are hearing is your enemy and God’s enemy seeking to undermine you.
Always remember, God’s Spirit is within you. Therefore, godly fruit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Gal. 5:22-23)—is growing and maturing to ripeness within you. This makes you perfectly suited for God’s kingdom work.
Dear God, may we always know the good work You have for us to do. Help us to grow in the fruit of Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name, amen.
