Sharing His Good News

Preach the Good News. Be ready at all times, and tell people what they need to do. Tell them when they are wrong. Encourage them with great patience and careful teaching. 2 Timothy 4:2, NCV

Have you ever finished a good book, like a really good book, and immediately wanted to tell others about it? Or maybe it wasn’t a book, but a good movie, great restaurant, or recipe you just tried that you just knew you needed to share? Well, this is how Morgan Preston, former middle school educator and current Marketing and Communications Coordinator for Christian Educators, feels about sharing Christian Educators with other teachers in her district.

Every year, our school district holds a District PD Day. This year, for the first time ever, Christian Educators had a table at the event—and I had the privilege of representing our incredible organization! It was awesome!

Throughout the day, several current Christian Educators members stopped by and said, “Finally! We are represented at District Day!”

The most common comment, though, was “How did I not know this was an option?”

It was such a blessing to tell them about Christian Educators as they took fliers, pens, sticky notes, and other CE treats.  I was also encouraged to know that there are so many Christian educators ready to answer the call for Christ in my school district!

But, the best part is that God connected me that day with some current members who are ready to become Volunteer Representatives! And, my sister, who was a Kentucky Association of Professional Educators member at the time, sat at the table and helped me recruit members for Christian Educators. She also joined and is now a building representative for our high school!
