TRUST

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, I commit my day to You and ask that You give me wisdom for each decision that comes across my path. Give me a heart to listen to your truth. Amen

Scripture: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV

As teachers, we often encounter decisions that need wisdom from God; however, finding time to focus on God with no distractions can be a challenge. But by spending time in God’s word, we can establish a foundation of trust that will allow us to hear His voice. The book of Proverbs supplies insight and wisdom for teachers to incorporate into everyday life. Today’s verse encourages us to trust the Lord with each step and each decision. The key is trusting the Lord. Realistically though, trust can be difficult when the path is not clear. The word of the Lord holds great encouragement to trust His timing and purpose for every situation. Finding ways to include God throughout the day is essential to hearing His voice; even a simple prayer or encouraging word can bring God’s truth to life.
