THE LONG WAY HOME

Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. Hebrews 7:25, NIV

So he got up and went to his father. “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him. Luke 15:20, NIV

Today, I want to remind you that if you’ve gotten off track in your prayer life or your spiritual walk, it’s not too late to make a change. Jesus loves you and will intercede for you if you turn to Him.

Likewise, if you’ve made a poor choice about the way you communicated or interacted with a parent, coworker, or student, it’s not too late to make it right. I encourage you to go to them and ask for forgiveness. It may not be easy, but it is the right thing to do.

Father, thank you for being there for me. Thank you for watching over me. Help me to make wise decisions. Amen.
