THE GOOD NEWS

This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace. Colossians 1:6, NLT

God’s Good News is that through Christ’s atonement, we are forgiven and changed forever. We have new lives to live—for eternity. That is Good News, indeed, to us who once were lost in sin! And this Good News is for everyone.

Are you keeping this Good News to yourself?

I want to remind you today that someone you know needs to hear this Good News that you have discovered. Someone you know needs to have the peace that you now have. Don’t wait for them to ask! You can show them Christ through His love manifested in you and then be prepared to share the Good News with them. They want to know—even if they don’t ask!

Be encouraged today to keep up the good work of telling others regardless of the response you receive.

Lord, we pray that You will lead us to someone today who is ready to hear about You. Please show us how to be brave for You.
