SHARPENED

Prayer: Lord, open my eyes to opportunities this year to have my character sharpened by others, rather than hiding or taking offense. Amen

Scripture: As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17 NIV

Interaction and nurturing between Christians is vital to our spiritual well being. Just as iron rubbed against iron is shaped and sharpened, fellowship with Christian friends and educators can “sharpen” our character and shape our personal relationship with Jesus Christ. How can we help to “sharpen” each other? How can we help shape others through our actions and reactions? How can each of us carry out the attribute of being sharpened in our daily environment (classroom, hallways, meetings, cafeteria, office, etc.) Remember, anything that comes up in your life, challenges, worries, a new year, etc.,meet it with Christian fellowship and prayer!!!
