SHARE WHAT YOU HAVE

Prayer: Dear Lord, I offer myself today to share with others as You have so greatly blessed me. Please show me the way. Thank You. Amen

Scripture: Don’t forget to do good and to share what you have with those in need, for such sacrifices are very pleasing to God. Hebrews 13:16 NLT

We should remember others we encounter when we see that they are needy, and we indeed, have available resources to bless them. But we must do this in love, of course, and not merely to assuage our conscience or seek to feel good about our beneficence. This standard is not limited to what we do with money. Think about what you have and how you can share that, beyond your cash. What about hospitality? What about your time? What about listening? What about the access to God in prayer that you have as His child? These are things God has also placed within your reach to use and to bless others.

I pray your day will be filled with opportunities to bless others with what you have. Listen to the Holy Spirit’s prompting and respond. You will be glad you did.
