REJOICE IN YOUR THANKFULNESS

Prayer: Dear Lord, I am grateful for Your love and provision. Help me to make it my priority to read Your Word and to spend time with You. You are the best company. Amen

Scripture: No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 NLT

Good times and in bad times – that is what we pledged in our marriage vows – that we will love through them. God has also vowed to love us through those good and bad times too. And he reminds us through the Apostle’s writing here to retain gratitude for His continuous grace and forgiveness. It is God’s will for us to be thankful because we belong to Christ Jesus. It is God’s will for us to rejoice in our eternal life. It is God’s will for us to share about the new life He has granted us by his Grace. So why not rejoice today?

“. . . lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other’s faults because of your love. Always keep yourselves united with the Holy Spirit and bind yourselves together with peace” (Eph. 4:1-3)
