PEACEMAKERS

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Matthew 5:9, NKJV

We all want to live in peace. We want peace at work, at home, and in our relationships. So, how do we obtain and maintain peace? We do this by inviting Jesus into every area of our lives—our workplaces, our homes, and our relationships. Jesus is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6) and He instructs us to pursue peace with everyone (Hebrews 12:14).

This week, if you are facing a difficult situation with a student, parent, colleague, administrator, family member, or friend, invite Jesus into the conversation. He will grace your words. He will shift the atmosphere. All you have to do is ask Him.

Heavenly Father, thank you for giving me peace. I’m grateful that You are in control of my life. Guard my tongue so I only use it to please You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
