If I could only be aware
Of the Special audience sitting there
Unseen, unheard but listening still
To see if I will do His will
I’d watch my tone, sweeten each word.
I’d not repeat mean things I’ve heard
I’d shower down blessings wherever I go
My speech would be measured,
My wrath would be slow
My words would give life and convey love
For people below and God above
God’s own fragrance would waft through the air
If I could just remember He’s there.
Lord, may we remember today that You are with us. May we be peaceful and kind. Amen.
