“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14, NIV
Have you ever faced a situation or circumstance that made you wonder, How is this ever going to work out? 

Throughout Scripture, the Lord continually reminds us that He is working all things together for good. We may not be able to see how God is going to fight for us at times. But it is encouraging to know that He has our backs and is working in ways that we may never know. The key is having faith and being still.

As an educator, being “still” is challenging because we want to get things done and see the results immediately. But God encourages us to be still and have faith according to His perfect timing. Even if we don’t see the results, we can still trust that He has our backs.

Dear Lord, thank you for fighting for me. Quiet my anxious heart to be still and find rest knowing that You are working all things together for the good of those who love You. Amen.
