FAITHFUL

For the Lord your God is a merciful God; he will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your ancestors, which he confirmed to them by oath. Deuteronomy 4:31, NIV
Christian educators, I want to remind you today that God will NEVER leave you! He is the God of promises and He cannot lie.

I’m sure you would love to tell your students that you will never abandon them or fail to support them. Even though this will always be the intention of our hearts, we are human and we can’t make such a promise. But God can, and He does make this promise to His children. Take courage, Christian educator, He will never forget His promises.

Father, thank You that You will never abandon us or forget Your promises. Teach me to rest in Your faithfulness and in who You are instead of focusing on what is going on around me.

  1. Thank you for this timely reminder! God is faithful and is showing me in big ways every day at school. This is the first year I’ve regularly read these CE devotionals! I was really missing out! Thank you to all the writers & editors. My classroom is a different place. I’m a different teacher this year. Praise God for his faithfulness to us !
