ENCOURAGEMENT

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31, NIV

The end of the school year is near, and the daily tasks are feeling like a grind. It’s easy to start grumbling and complaining.

However, today I want to encourage you to carry out your vacation in a way that is a beacon of light to your students, coworkers, administration, and communities. Let’s do it in a way that is pleasing to our Father in Heaven.

And, on the days when you don’t feel like anyone is checking on you to see if you are okay, remember God is always here for you. Your brothers and sisters in Christ are also here for you! You are awesome! You are doing a great job! You are loved!

Heavenly Father, this hour, this day, this week, and this school year, help me to be an obedient servant of Your Truth. Help me to honor You through my words and actions—in adversity, in trials, in celebrations, in all I say and do. Help me to discern the difference between my human emotions and Your Spirit’s guiding hand. Abba, may Your Name be glorified in my classroom today and beyond. Amen.
