DELIGHT YOURSELF IN THE LORD

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4, NIV

Do you delight in the Lord? Do you seek Him for all your needs? Do you give Him thanks for the good school days and the bad school days? Do you think about Him often? Do you find great joy in Him? Do you trust and believe that He has created you to be an educator and that He will give you all the desires of your heart when you delight in Him?

As educators, when we delight in Him, we will learn how to delight in our students, and perhaps especially, those who don’t deserve our love.

Lord, I choose today to delight myself in all that You are. You are my source of joy, You are my peace, You are my rest, and I am so in awe of You. Change my heart to reflect Yours as I delight myself in You today.
