Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples. 1 Chronicles 16:24, NASB
Most days, it’s hard to see how daily life in the classroom connects to something eternal. But the National Day of Prayer theme reminds us that sharing God’s glory with all nations and generations is not reserved for missionaries or ministry leaders—it is a calling for educators, too. Every generation passes through our schools, and God has entrusted teachers with a sacred opportunity to influence young lives. Never underestimate how God can use your daily presence to minister to the next generation.
On this National Day of Prayer, I encourage you to ask God to strengthen you for the work He has called you to do and to use your life to reflect His glory in your school. As you seek Him, trust that He is working through your faithfulness to touch this generation for His purposes.
Lord, on this National Day of Prayer, I join believers across this nation in seeking You. I thank You for the wonderful deeds You have done in this country, my community, and my classroom. Forgive me for the times I have forgotten to tell of Your glory or even notice it myself.
Today, I lift up my students to You. You placed them in my care for this season, and I do not take that lightly. May something they encounter in me plant a seed that points them toward You. I pray that this generation would seek You, Lord, and that You would use me for this purpose.
I pray for my school, its leaders, my colleagues, and the families we serve. I pray for my nation, as millions do today. And I pray for the courage to keep showing up, shining Your light, and seeking Your will because You are worth it, and so are they. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
