SUCCESSFUL

Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed. Proverbs 16:3, NLT

The New Year has arrived—a fresh page, clean calendar, and 365 new opportunities. With it comes the familiar urge to plan, reset, and dream. Many people make resolutions or set goals, hoping this will be the year something finally changes for the better.

But before we begin making lists, drafting goals, or reworking our routines, there’s one question worth asking:

Have we submitted our plans to God?

God invites us to commit everything to Him. When we give Him our plans, we aren’t handing over control; we’re receiving direction. We’re allowing the One who sees the whole year ahead to guide each step we take.

So as this new year begins, pause long enough to place your goals, dreams, worries, and desires in His hands. Invite Him to shape them. Let His wisdom lead where your planning cannot.

Lord, I commit my plans for the year ahead to You. Shape my desires, guide my steps, and reveal Your will for my life. Amen.
