SHIELD OF LOVE

But let all who take refuge in You be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread Your protection over them, that those who love Your name may rejoice in You. Surely, Lord, You bless the righteous; You surround them with Your favor as with a shield. Psalm 5:11-12, NIV

It is difficult to love the unlovable, especially students who are being disrespectful or rebellious. But our charge as Christians is to love others because He loves us. They truly will know us by our love. Let’s pray for His love to cover us so that we may in turn protect our students with His shield of love.

Father, thank You for the joy and love in which You surround me. Teach me to love like You love, to love my students because I am so immersed in the reality of the love You have given me. May they feel Your love through me today. Amen.
