Luciano Cid, Ed.D., serves as an Assistant Professor of Education at Biola University in La Mirada, California (https://www.biola.edu/education/academics). Immigrating to the U.S. from Argentina at age 13, Dr. Cid has a heart for bilingual students and helps educators learn empathic skills as he teaches educational psychology, teacher training, and leadership courses. He received his doctorate from the University of Southern California in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Educational Psychology. He also holds an M. Ed. from Harvard University in the burgeoning field of Mind, Brain, and Education and an MAT from Chapman University.  He taught K-12 bilingual students for more than a decade in both Title I and non-Title I schools.  His research interests are classroom discipleship, redemptive disciplining, social emotional learning (SEL), neuroeducation, curriculum design, as well as the integration of faith and learning.
